MAINTENANCE / OWNER GUIDE
2015 Ford F-150 Maintenance Schedule
Use Ford’s schedule and account for how the truck is driven.
Your truck’s Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor helps determine oil service timing, but it does not replace the rest of the scheduled inspections. Ford also sets maximum time and distance limits.
Selected original maintenance intervals
| When | Service item |
|---|---|
| At each oil-life reminder, no later than 1 year or 10,000 mi (16,000 km) | Engine oil and filter; reset oil-life monitor; perform the associated inspections |
| Every 30,000 mi (48,000 km) | Replace engine air filter under the normal schedule |
| At 100,000 mi (160,000 km) | Replace spark plugs; initial coolant service is at six years or 100,000 mi, whichever occurs first |
| At 150,000 mi (240,000 km) | Automatic transmission fluid and filter; axle and transfer-case fluids as applicable under the normal schedule |

How driving conditions change the schedule
Ford lists exceptions for towing, extended idling, dusty roads and off-road driving. For example, its dusty-road and off-road schedule calls for oil and filter changes every 5,000 miles (8,000 km) or six months. Towing also changes some plug and transfer-case guidance.
The inspections that matter
At oil-change visits, the original manual calls for checks of steering and suspension connections, wheel-related wear, and other listed components. Keep records for brakes, tires, fluid levels and any warning lights.
Keep a dated log
Use the printable maintenance tracker on this site to record what was done, at what mileage and by whom. Don’t reset the reminder before completing the actual oil service.

I own a 2015 Ford F-150 and plan to add real observations, photos and maintenance notes to these guides. I won't present an untested repair as something I've personally done.
