2015 Ford F-150 Fuse Box Diagram and Fuse Locations

Find the fuse panels, common fuse numbers and ratings, and original Ford diagrams.

Where are the 2015 Ford F-150 fuse panels?

The under-hood power distribution box contains the high-current protection and several fuses for towing, engine controls and power outlets. The passenger-compartment panel sits behind the trim on the right side of the front passenger footwell. Remove its trim and panel cover using Ford's procedure.

Original Ford fuse-box layouts

Use Ford's 2015 F-150 fuse specification chart and numbered panel diagrams to match the correct physical position. The manual supplied with your truck takes precedence if the online chart differs. Equipment not fitted to your truck may have unused fuse positions.

These are selected references from Ford's 2015 chart, not a substitute for the full numbered layout. Match the number to the engine-compartment box, not the interior panel.

Selected fuse numbers and ratings were cross-checked against Ford's 2015 online owner's manual. A printed manual revision or optional equipment can change the appropriate reference. Use the original diagrams for position and the complete list of circuits.

How to investigate a blown fuse

  1. Turn off the ignition and affected accessory.
  2. Find the correct panel and fuse number using the Ford diagram.
  3. Inspect the fuse and replace it only with the specified type and amp rating.
  4. If the replacement blows again, have the circuit diagnosed. Do not fit a higher-amperage fuse or bypass the fuse.

Ford advises disconnecting the battery before servicing high-current fuses and reinstalling the under-hood box cover before reconnecting the battery. For starting or dashboard-warning symptoms, read the battery guide and warning messages guide.

At a glance

Fuse assignments depend on the panel and equipment. Confirm the number, amperage, and protected circuit in the correct printing of the 2015 owner manual before changing a fuse.

What to know

Turn off the ignition before inspection, never substitute a higher amp rating, and never bridge terminals. Recurring fuse failures require diagnosis.

What I'd check next

For exact diagrams, use the original Ford manual Fuses chapter; a panel illustration from another model year may be wrong.

Official information

Start with the Ford owner manual and Ford's 2015 technical specifications. For recall-related questions, use Ford's VIN recall checker. Published specifications may differ by configuration, market and equipment.

DON'S OWNER NOTES

I own a Blue Flame Metallic 2015 Ford F-150 XLT and plan to add firsthand observations, photos and maintenance notes to these guides. I won't present an untested repair as something I've personally done.
