2015 F-150 Spark Plugs by Engine
The four engines have different original spark-plug part numbers.

The 2015 F-150 engines do not all use the same spark plugs. The original owner manual names a different Motorcraft part for each engine.

Published 2015 Ford figures and original part references. Check current Ford service information and your exact truck before purchasing parts or servicing fluids.
Which interval applies?
Ford’s normal schedule and exceptions are different. Frequent trailer towing or extensive idling can require replacement at 60,000 miles (96,000 km). Check your full operating pattern in the manual before planning service.
Use current fitment data
Original part numbers may be superseded. Confirm current Ford fitment and the exact engine, and follow manufacturer service procedures for plugs in aluminum cylinder heads.
If the truck has a misfire
A P030x code is not proof that spark plugs alone will fix the problem. Coil, fuel, wiring and mechanical testing may also be needed.
Questions from 2015 Ford F-150 owners
Are the spark plugs interchangeable between engines?
No. The original 2015 Ford parts chart gives different part references by engine. Confirm the VIN and current replacement part before buying.
Should plugs be replaced sooner when towing?
Frequent towing or extended idling may place the truck on a special service schedule. Consult the manual rather than applying the normal interval to every truck.
Does a P0300 misfire code always mean bad spark plugs?
No. Plugs are one possible cause; coils, fuel delivery, wiring, vacuum issues and mechanical problems can also produce misfires. Diagnose before replacing parts.

I own a Blue Flame Metallic 2015 Ford F-150 XLT and plan to add firsthand observations, photos and maintenance notes to these guides. I won't present an untested repair as something I've personally done.
