Buying a Used 2015 Ford F-150: Checklist
Inspect the actual truck, not just the model’s reputation.
Confirm engine, drivetrain, cab, bed, axle ratio and packages. Examine maintenance, accident history, tires, frame, bed and possible towing wear.
What to know
Test starting, acceleration, braking, steering, all gears, 4WD if equipped, locks, windows, climate control, cameras and infotainment. Scan fault codes and check recalls.
What I'd check next
Arrange a pre-purchase inspection, preferably before putting down a non-refundable deposit.
